We’re looking for a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to expand our B2B client base and drive strategic growth, with a focus on Build to Rent (BTR) and institutional landlords. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting and market mapping to pitching, negotiation, and closing long-term partnerships.

What you'll be doing:
- Identify key market opportunities for corporate partnership within the market, through research and business analysis and your own self-initiative including Build to Rent (BTR) and other major asset owners.
- Drive lead generation through market research, targeted outreach, and personalised engagement strategies.
- Qualify and convert opportunities by effectively understanding client needs and aligning them with our value proposition.
- Lead the sales process from pitch to close, collaborating with marketing and sales team to tailor high-impact presentations and proposals.
- Support new client onboarding, ensuring seamless service delivery and alignment with commercial objectives.
- Leverage data and analytics to evaluate pipeline performance, revenue conversion, and client retention, using insights to continuously optimise sales strategy.
- Liaise directly with Clients throughout the tender process and delivery of services to ensure continuity and consistency in relationships and quality of service and in line with company values.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership to shape business development strategies and improve client outcomes.
- Lead commercial communications and brand positioning across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), managing a content calendar that supports inbound lead generation and strengthens our market presence.
- Represent the brand externally at industry events and through thought leadership contributions.
Salary: OTE £100+
Office Location: Southwark, London (office-based role - 1 day WFH post probation)
This role could be good for you if you have...
- Proven track record of hitting targets and delivering results within the property sector, or a similar sales/new business environment.
- At least 3 years' experience of targeting, winning, and generating new business in a client-facing role, with excellent communication skills with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Confident presenting to clients and comfortable leading meetings to build rapport and drive engagement.
- The ability to work using your own self-initiative, with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience with various systems including Microsoft Office, CRMs, and campaign management tools, email and newsletter management tools & survey/data collections tools.
